Puebla, 12 Mar (Notimex) .- The owner of the Attorney General of the State (PGJE), Rodolfo Igor Archundia said they expect the recommendation issued today by the National Commission on Human Rights (NCHR) on Lydia Cacho case.
On Thursday, the agency issued a recommendation to the governors of Puebla, Mario Marín, and Quintana Roo, Félix González Canto, finding sufficient evidence to infer violations of fundamental guarantees of the journalist.
In an interview, the state official said that so far has not received any documents on this case and will wait before acting on the judicial police José Quiroz and Jesus Montaño Pérez Vargas.
According to the NHRC, both uniformed violated individual rights of journalist Lydia Cacho, in December 2005, when they participated in the arrest and transfer of it from Cancun, Quintana Roo to Puebla.
Archundia said he did not know the contents of such a recommendation, let alone that led authorities is therefore not elaborate on details of what the performance of the department at his office.
Meanwhile, state Interior Secretary Mario Montero Serrano, announced that the recommendation of the NHRC is given once again shows that Governor Mario Marín Torres had no responsibility for what happened to the journalist.
