independent journalists, grouped into unions and other workers in the media invite all colleagues to participate in an act of complaint with the Attorney General's Office (PGR) and then to become a national front to defend our profession.

So far the state has been unable to stop the crimes against journalists and to guarantee the right to life and freedom of expression contained in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which turns 61 years. Only in 2009, twelve of our colleagues have been killed, but only one of the perpetrators have been punished.
The protest rally will take place on Thursday December 10 at 10.30 am sharp
at the main entrance of the Attorney General (Av. Reforma 211). Here, again demand that the Attorney General's Office do its job and make concrete and effective action to prevent another crime against the guild of journalists.
Later, at 12.00 o'clock, we will focus, to announce the creation of a national network in defense of journalism, a monument to Francisco Zarco (Av. Hidalgo, corner of Paseo de la Reforma, Hidalgo meters). We will, among other renowned journalists, the presence of Mr. Miguel Angel Granados Chapa
We can not continue to exercise our profession in an environment of fear, injunctions, threats and attacks, while impunity reigns.
